No nominations were received for Management Committee positions thus nominations will be called during the meeting. The AGM will commence at 1pm this Thursday and all members able to attend are encouraged to do so.
Most importantly, we are holding an open day on Monday, 5th December to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the END of the VIETNAM WAR. Our OPEN DAY is from 8am to 12 noon. Sandwiches, tea, and coffee will be provided. This date was recently declared by our Federal Government based on the last troops being withdrawn from the Vietnam War on the 5h December 1972. This date also marks the end of conscription into the Australian Defence Force.
Please, if you can attend our OPEN DAY on Monday, 5th December 2022, we would love to see you here. Additionally, spread the news of our OPEN DAY, for all veterans and the public, in every way you can. We wish to showcase our legacy for future generations of veterans. Our Advocacy services are second to none and our Men’s Shed must be the best equipped in Australia.
